Underrated games

If your like me your gaming backlog is enormous, game after game sit and wait to be played and completed.Sometimes I may start a game and either get stuck or another game comes along I'd rather play and then there's those games that fly under the radar to mediocre scores and reviews or get completely overlooked by the big budget AAA titles that everyone is clamoring over. I've recently gone back to the PS3/360 era and have discovered some amazing and lesser known underrated gems that deserve people's time and can be found relatively inexpensive now. Some of these games you've probably heard of and maybe played a time or two but then again there might be some you totally missed as well. The first game I would like to showcase is Spec Ops:The Line, a great shooter by Yager/2k games that came out in 2012.I think what makes this game stand out the most is the story, it takes a small group of US soldiers to Dubai to investigate the tragic events of a huge sandstorm and political unrest. The story tackles some serious moral themes of various topics and through the eyes of traitors and loyal soldiers and the real issues of war and how far people go to save innocent lives or get the job done and go home. Now I know this sounds like your everyday military shooter from battlefield to Medal of Honor to call of duty, but this one really impressed me with the theme they use to tell the story. As far as gameplay and graphics etc it's your standard fair of military weapons and accessories but does it in a unique to shooters third person. And it's also pretty cool to have to deal with sandstorms from time to time while fending off the badguys, it does have multiplayer but by now I'm sure the servers are offline but the single player story is the main course here, not overly long and not super short but just right in the pacing and length.A great game for the slow release summer months coming up to try something different but still get your shooter fix, well that's it for now guys! I hope you all get a chance to try this underrated gem out and let me now what you all think, until next time
