Top 10 Horror Since the earliest days of gaming, horror titles have always been one of the most popular genres.I remember fondly playing Haunted House on the Atari 2600 and loving it! People like to be scared, whether it's the adrenaline rush or the ability to test themselves on how much they can take. Horror movies, books and games are always popular and have grown over the years, I personally love the horror gaming genre and have made a list of more current titles I thoroughly enjoyed. 10. Until Dawn-feels like your in a actual teen horror movie, very well done and has multiple branching storylines. 9. Alien Isolation-another trip into a movie, being hunted by the iconic alien is pure fright, loved everything about this game. 8. The Evil Within-feels like a grown up version of Resident Evil, twisted monsters and enemies everywhere, creepy atmosphere, love it! 7. P.T.-The demo that has already become legend, one of the scariest games I've played in a long time, psychological horror is truly terrifying. 6. Outlast-Brutally in your face horror, no weapons, hardly any light, abandoned mental hospital in the rain, perfect setting. 5. Murdered Soul Suspect-Not your typical horror title, but a great mystery nonetheless, you play as a ghost solving your own murder, lots of creepiness throughout. 4. Kholat-A game based on a true story in the mountains of Russia. Cold, dark and alone, what could go wrong? 3.Soma-Part Bioshock part Deus Ex, this is a great game that made me stay awake thinking about it over and over. 2. Slender The Arrival-Another game based on true stories or urban legends, really creepy atmosphere and locales, I felt like I was there in the woods waiting for something to jump out, great game. 1. State of Decay-Felt like a Walking Dead simulator. Scavenge for food and supplies, look for survivors, fortify your home. Not overly scary but a great zombie survival game. Ok so there's 10 horror titles I loved and still play, lots of new games on the horizon as well, it's a great time to be a gamer who loves being scared! The Champ @jsquyres33
