Digital trade ins With the increase of digital only games, the question has come up and Xbox has been asking gamers through recent surveys, if they would be willing to resell there digital games back for credit. Once a game is finished or grow tired of it, a lot of gamers trade in there physical copies to stores for credit or cash, this is a great way to get the newer titles cheaper, but as the winds of change are slowly ushering in the digital only games what are gamers to do? I think reselling them is a great idea . How many digital only games do we have taking up precious hard drive space right now? Or maybe we downloaded one that wasn't quite what you were expecting and are stuck with it. It depends on the amount of credit you receive. A lot of indie titles or smaller budget games aren't expensive so what would be the resell value on these games? A lot of fans don't like the trade values of the physical games, one of the biggest resellers here in the states is Gamestop. I have frequented this game store for years for the selection of games but haven't been happy with there resell values, but digital trade ins for credit with decent value might be the next big thing, but what criteria goes into the worth of a digital game? Physical games have several factors in determining there trade in value, often times stores lower there value if they have multiple copies of one particular game or if there older sports titles or if there in complete condition meaning game disc box and or instruction manuals, but none of that can factor in to the digital market. So shouldn't we get the full amount we paid in credit? This is an interesting topic that will surely spark debate as the decision to let gamers trade in there digital games increases.
